WHAT ARE THE AGENDA 2030 GOALS ?
The 2030 Agenda is a global action plan adopted in 2015 by UN member states, which includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS).
These goals aim to address challenges such as poverty, inequality, climate change, and environmental sustainability.
The Agenda seeks to ensure that everyone can enjoy a dignified life, promoting sustainable development and social inclusion by 2030.
The United Nations Sustainable Development Summit on September 25-27 2015, officially launched the 2030 Agenda.
THE MEETINGS AND EVENTS
The High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF), held annually in July, is another major event that reviews global progress.
The meetings and events plannedfor 2030 will be crucial to evalute progress toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
