what do they need to grow
Plants need three important things to grow: water, sunlight, and carbon dioxide (CO₂). Water helps them drink and stay strong. Sunlight gives them energy to make their food. CO₂ comes from the air and helps plants grow healthy. Without these things, plants can't live well.

Plants give us many important things, but the most special is oxygen. They take in carbon dioxide (CO₂) from the air and, with sunlight, turn it into oxygen. This oxygen is what we breathe to stay alive! Without plants, we wouldn’t have enough oxygen, and we wouldn’t be healthy. So, plants are very important for us and for the Earth!
