Stevenson was born in Edimburgh in 1850.He graduated in law to plaese his parents but he never praticied and chose the carrer of writer.he married Fanny Van de Grift in 1880.the last five years of his life he writing about the colonial exploitation of the native that had given him the name of "Tusitala".he died in 1894.

the strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde

The novel is a methaphor of he moral dichotomy of human soul.It revolves around the mystery of a deformed violent creature, Hyde, and his relation to a respectable doctor, Dr Jekyll.
