You use a Geround or an infinitive if you want to follow a verb with another action.

An infinitive is the base form of the verrb, it is formed by: to+verb Ex: to eat - to sleep - to play She agreed to play with us.

A geround is formed by adding "ing" at the end of the verb. Ex: eating - sleaping - studing She stopped studing.
