Obama talks about the "American creed" : "Yes we can". He says that whenever Americans face difficulty, they do not give up. They keep going. They believe that they can succeed.
Obama parle de la "divise américaine": "Oui, on peut." Il dit que n'importe quand les américains doivent faire face à la difficulté, ils n'abandonnent jamais. Ils persevèrent. Ils croient qu'ils peuvent vraiment réussir.

Can ?
Quand on forme une question pour demander si quelqu'un est capable à faire quelque chose, nous utilisons le verbe "Can". Je le mets en premier de ma phrase. Ex: He can dance. → Can he dance? 2: I can drive a car. → Can you drive a car?
I can = Je peux I cannot = Je ne peux pas (on l'utilise à l'écrit ou pour y mettre l'accent) I CAN'T = Je n' peux pas (c'est le plus COURANT)
Can est la conjugaison du verbe irregulier "to be able to" qui corréspond à "pouvoir" C'est irregulier parce que ça n'a rien avoir... et parce qu'il ne change pas selon le sujet. AU PRESENT, PHRASE AFFIRMATIVE, IL SERA TOUJOURS "CAN". I can, he can, she can, we can, you can, they can
