Make brands more transparent

Eco-tax

Introduce an environmental tax on poorly made and unsustainable products. This will encourage funds to go on sustainable fashion initiatives.

Require brands to make public their supply chain, adhering to sustainability and ethical labor standards. Such a certification system could make customers more aware about a brand's sustainability.

Invest in infrastuctures for clothing collection and recycling. This will encourage companies to produce recyclable clothes and raise customer awareness about second-hand fashion.
