The meaning of dia de los muertos
During this holiday it is belivied that the souls of the dead temporariily return to earth to visit their loved ones. Families build altars in their homes or at cemeteries.Decorated whit photographs,object dear to the deceased,cadles,marigold flowers and offerins of food and drinks that their deceased loved ones adored during their life, such as pan de muerto and tequila. Decorated sckelwtons and altar are joyful and colorful representations. The fomous Catrina,an elegant female sckeleton clothing and it's one of the most iconic symbols of this holiday

Contrary to what on meet think..Dia de los muertos is not a sad celebration. .It is a time of joy, reconciliation with death, and joyfull remember those who have passed away,sharing stories and anecdotes about the decaesed,singing,and sharing food.
