  • Write 5 -10 sentences answering the following question, "During the era of the Jim Crow laws, many Black Americans struggled with the idea of living in the "land of the free" and being denied basic human rights. How does McKay's poem "America" reflect this experience?"
  • Write an original poem about a time you experienced or witnessed prejudice or racism.

    • The windows key
    • The shift key
    • The letter "S" key
  • The screen should turn a shade of light grey, and you should get a cursor that looks like a "+" sign.
  • Drag the cursor across the section you want to capture.
  • That should automatically put it on your computer's "clipboard."
  • Put your cursor where you want that image to go, and then paste the image by pressing the control key and the letter "V" key at the same time.
