My opinion
I liked the book because it was exciting and mysterious. The story is easy to understand and fun to read.
Curiosities
The book was published in 1897. That means Dracula is over 128 years old, but people still read it today! Dracula is afraid of sunlight, garlic, and crosses. These are classic vampire weaknesses we still see in movies and TV shows.
Author
The original story was written by Bram Stoker in 1897. He was from Ireland. He wrote many books, but Dracula is the most famous. The book is different from the other books because it is made of many letters and diary pages.
Summary
Jonathan Harker, a young English lawyer, travels to Transylvania to conduct business with Count Dracula. At first, Jonathan thinks Dracula is just a strange but polite man. However, as the days go by, he realizes that he is a prisoner in the castle and that Dracula is, in fact, a vampire - a creature that drinks human blood to live. Dracula then leaves for England, where he attacks a young woman named Lucy, who ends up dying and becoming a vampire. Professor Van Helsing, Jonathan, Mina (Jonathan's fiancée) and other friends join forces to fight Dracula. After several battles, they follow him to Transylvania and manage to destroy him, saving Mina and ending his power forever.
Conclusion
Dracula is a great book with action and mystery. I recommend it to anyone who likes vampire stories mystery and adventures. Thank you for listening!
