SU COSA SI BASA?

Il confucianesimo si basa sull'idea che gli esseri umani siano buoni e che cedano a comportamenti immorali solo per una mancanza.

Confucio riteneva che la presenza della virtù può rendere chiunque un "uomo superiore". La differenza non sta nella classe sociale ma nella virtù posseduta.

LE REGOLE DI VITA DEL CONFUCIANESIMIO

Il principio della virtù è fondamentale sia al fine di formare una famiglia felice, sia per guidare uno Stato ordinato. Gli elementi essenziali per ottenere una famiglia e uno Stato virtuosi sono per Confucio la carità, la giustizia, lo studio, la sincerità e i riti.

COSA MANGIANO I CONFUCIANI

A ogni pasto si deve avere in tavoladue dolci, piatti di verdure, di carne, di pollo, di uova, di doufu, di germogli di soia, di gamberetti d'acqua dolce.

Esempi di piatti tipici: i germogli di fagiolo farciti di pollo tritato, la macedonia alla cinese, le giuggiole caramellate, dolci alla violetta ecc.

Confucio elaborò una dottrina morale e sociale, per rimediare alla decadenza spirituale della Cina, in un'epoca di profonda corruzione e di sconvolgimenti politici.

L'insegnamento di Confucio si è rivelato determinante per lo sviluppo del pensiero cinese. Anche se non è stato lui a creare il confucianesimo.
