Character Types

Hori is the protagonist. The story follows her and her school life, highlighting her relationship with Miyamura. Miyamura is a secondary character. He moves the story along as he stands beside Hori. He is an important person as he moves the story along, but he isn't who the story follows. Yuki is a dynamic character. She is one of Hori's friends. She chooses to go to Hori's house and sees Miyamura there, and therefore changes how she acts and the person she is. She used to think of him as unsociable. She changes because of this interaction and becomes nicer

Ice Tea

When Miyamura comes over on a hot day, Hori and her family meet him. They all sit in the living room talking, till Hori offers to get a cold drink. She brings iced tea and ends up spilling it on Miyamura, this causes a laugh as he has to wear Hori's father's clothes, since he doesn't have a chance.

Dress Shirt

Miyamura always has to wear a school jacket. He cannot wear the uniform dress shirt alone because it is slightly see-through, and he got tattoos when he was younger. This violates his school policy and because of this, he must hide the tattoos with a jacket.

Eggs

Hori asks Miyamura to make it to the supermarket by a certain time to buy eggs. The eggs went on sale only for that day at that time. Since he was late getting out of school, he had to hop over a fence. Doing this Yuki sees him hopping over the fence, and doesn't recognize him due to his appearance being different.

Notebook

Yuki borrows a notebook from Hori. When she visits her house to return it she is met with Miyamura, who she cannot recognize. This causes a lie to start, as Hori doesn't want people to know she's friends with him. They state that they are cousins. Yuki belives this till they clear it up with her later.

Piercings

Miyamura has 10 piercings in total. His school does not allow piercings on the ear, and he has 4 on each ear, so he grows his hair out. He has shoulder-length hair to hide the piercings on his ears. Eventually he cuts his hair to above his ears, and everyone finds out about his perciings, which he did himself.
