Greensboro Sit-ins
In 1960, students went to a whites-only diner in Greensboro and sat there as a form of protest. People around them treated them very badly and wouldn't let the blacks order anything. This was impactful because it lead to desegregation in cafes in some public places.

Birmingham March
Room 02
In Birmingham of 1963, Students and adults were protesting, as were some teenagers and middle school children. They protested for desegregation in public areas and the city fire department attacked them with hoses. This was impactful because the children who got attacked would soon go on newspapers and the story would spread of people who support segregation attacking children.
