Adventures in Desegregation Museum

This is an image of the counter of where the college kids spent their days without moving.This is important because of the impact they had on the one counter.
This is a picture of the diner that hosted the first sit-in and that started a domino effect of different Greensboro sit ins all around the country.
This is a real picture of the Greensboro Sit-Ins. This is important because you can see that they are not moving and how young the participants are.

This is the Martin Luther King Jr. Monument in Washington D.C. This is important because not many black activist have a statue of them and he was so important that he got a monument.
This is the whole video of Martin Luther King Jr. saying his most famous speech "I Have A Dream". He is using emotion to get the words out and for people to remember him.
This is a picture of the March on Washington. An estimates 250,000 fought their police, soldiers, and people to get to Washington for freedom.

This is a picture of the blacks finding alternate ways to get to work or school without taking the bus. As you can see, everybody was on board with the idea and usually rode in groups.
This is an image of the first day after the Bus Boycott started. As you can see, the buses are empty because most of the people on buses were black. So, when they started to not take it, there were no people in it.
This is Rosa Parks who just got arrested because she would give her seat to a black man. This is her head shot and what started the Bus Boycott.
