How to sign into your new account

Sign into CLS Apple ID on iPad

Are you signed into a Personal Apple ID on this device?

Before you sign out of your personal account...

You need to Turn off iCloud Backup in a few locations & keep a copy of your data on your device

Click on the following apps which you have data that you want to keep on your device:

iCloud Drive

Photos & Videos

Check other Apps

Notability

Log out of your Personal Apple ID

  • Go to your Settings and Sign Out.
  • Choose to keep a copy of all data types.

Sign into new Account on iPad

  • Go to Settings
  • Sign in to your iPad manually using your full CLS email address.
  • Enter your Google Account info.
  • Set a new passcode.
  • Choose Merge.

Go into your Settings to see what other apps might have data you want to keep on your device.

Go to Notability and turn off iCloud Syncing. Choose “Keep Notes on this iPad”.

When the onscreen keyboard is up you cannot see the prompt

Open the Files App and copy everything in your iCloud to On my iPad

Go to iCloud in Settings and turn off iCloud Photos Sync. Choose “Download Photos & Videos”.
