Writing Complete Sentences by Restating the Question
- A complete sentence expresses a complete thought.
- It has a subject and a verb.
- Example: "The cat is sleeping."
What is a Complete Sentence?
- Restating helps clarify your answer.
- It shows you understand the question.
- It makes your writing clearer and more complete.
Why Restate the Question?
- Read the question carefully.
- Identify the main idea.
- Use your own words to rewrite the question as part of your answer.
How to Restate a Question
- Question: "What is your favorite book?"
- Restated Answer: "My favorite book is 'Harry Potter.'"
