Prereading

A website was opened to a shopping page and showed a completed transaction for six luxury items totalling over 3,000 pounds.
“Chris! Come quick, I need your help!” Gregory was sitting at his desk, holding his head in his hands. He stared at the screen in disbelief. Chris came running into the room. “What’s wrong?” he looked at the computer screen and gasped. “You spent 3,000 pounds? What were you thinking?”

“Gregory, that’s a terrible idea. You have to be careful about where you store your information online."
“I didn’t mean to hit the button. I went to move a piece of dust off of the screen, and accidentally clicked to buy everything.” Chris stared at his brother and shook his head. “What were you even doing? Why did you enter the credit card number if you didn’t want to buy these things?” “The site has my credit card number stored. As soon as I logged in, it already had all of my information.”

I can cancel the order within 24 hours and there is no fee or charge. Do you want me to cancel it? “Oh, thank goodness. Yes! I was only looking around to buy a present. I had saved all of the items I was thinking about.”
