He went to the Supreme Court on May 17, 1954. School integration is very important because black kids weren't getting the same education as white kids, and therefore weren't as smart and successful.

He was arguing againt The Board of Education (picture above), and won. Supreme Court ruled it was unconstitutional and ended school integration.

Oscar Brown's black daughter wasn't allowed to go to an all-white school in Topeka, Kansas (picture above). Upset, Brown went to court to argue about school integration. This a picture of Linda Brown, Oscar Brown's daughter.

The resturuant eventaully changed its policy and let the students eat there. This showed that peacful protests also make an impact- and violence is not always the asnwer.
The sit-ins brought attention to many people, both good and bad. Some poured food on the student's heads and yelled at them. Others protested outside the resturaunt to end resturaunt seragation.
4 black college students in Greensboro, SC, decided to take action and go to an all white diner. They did this multiple times and were not served food any time they were there.

His grave was made specially in memory of him, like many others. But what made MLK's different from others is that it is located in the Hitorical Park named and made in honor of him. The grave is surrounded by water.
Tons of memorials were made in memory of MLK, but this was just one of the most popular ones. People really did honor him, whether he was dead of alive. MLK is still honored today in many ways.
There were thousaunds of newspapers covering MLK's death, and this was just one. That shows how much his legacy impacted thousaunds of lives, maybe even millions.
