Responsibility: Teachers, adminstration, and curriculum specialist. Student Achievement: Taking notes on the pacing guide to include areas of struggle, which assignments require additional time, and tracking student progress through the content to support student need. Teacher Practice: Using the guide to track progress of students and determine where increased time is needed for certain concepts. (Understanding the Pacing Guide, n.d.)

Responsibility: Administrators, teachers, & Curriculum Specialists for creation and implementation. Student Achievement: Tracks progress through content, sets a purpose for learning, ensures standards are being taught. Teacher Practices: address gaps and align academics with state standards, accompanied by a pacing guide and a lesson plan, working as the umbrella to assist with refining of necessary scaffolding through the transition of content areas and grade levels. Responsibility: Teachers Student Achievement: Specifies dynamic of grouping, specific activities, and differentiated components based on the dynamic of the classroom. Teacher Practices: Track progess of students, determine if lessons were successful through assessment, asses reteaching needed, differentiate through small and whole group instruction as needed.
