Event Coordinator
My position as an event coordinator for FBA Stores was among the most enjoyable roles I have ever undertaken. I was tasked with assisting in all logistical aspects of a seminar, which included: securing venues, liaising with speakers, supervising the setup and teardown processes, facilitating vendor relationships, and ensuring the event proceeded seamlessly according to the established timeline, effectively serving as one of the primary on-site contacts. My key responsibilities involved identifying appropriate venues that met the seminar's size and specifications, reaching out to and confirming speakers, organizing their schedules, coordinating presentation materials, and offering essential support. My passion for event coordination has evolved into a deep appreciation for wedding planning. Currently, I serve as a planner's assistant at Sutlan & Co and Moonbeam Weddings, where I aid in ensuring wedding days proceed seamlessly and that our strict timeline is adhered to diligently. This role brings me great enthusiasm, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to advance from an assistant to a full-fledged Planner/Coordinator.
Management
My journey in management began during my high school years when I had the opportunity to serve as the Stage Manager at the Highlander Auditorium, the local theater. It was during this time that I discovered my natural leadership abilities and recognized the potential value. Following that, it was at French Memories Bakery where I truly flourished, as the Bakery Manager. This experience allowed me to learn how to effectively lead a large team, make quick decisions, and consistently uplift my team to maintain high morale.
Photographer
While managing at French Memories, I committed myself to enhancing the bakery in every possible way. I started capturing images of the delightful bites and beverages we offered to feature on our social media and website. This initiative naturally led me to take on the role of food stylist/ photographer, thanks to my strong sense of composition and visual flair. At Lucky Rooster Kitchen and Bar, I continued to utilize these skills, photographing their exquisite dishes and cocktails for their online presence. I am currently enhancing my photography skills as I transition from food photography to weddings, where I find great pleasure in capturing the beauty and joy of each occasion.

During the period from 2016 to 2020, I held a part-time position as a Virtual Administrative Assistant at Kelly's Accounting Services. In this role, I was responsible for fundamental accounting and administrative duties, including data entry, invoice processing, and the management of their calendar and emails. I am presently employed as a personal VA for the accomplished owner of Sutlan & Co. My primary responsibilities involve responding to inquiries, documenting the origins of these inquiries, and compiling a report to identify our main sources of clientele, as well as areas where we can enhance our efforts to attract additional inquiries.
Customer Service
My experience in Customer Service roles has significantly refined my communication abilities, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and, most importantly, my patience. I began my journey in this field at Dolce Bistro and Bakery, where I initially took on the role of Barista and swiftly progressed to Lead Barista. This position taught me the importance of being agile, communicating effectively, and maintaining a professional yet approachable demeanor throughout my shifts. My skills were further honed during my tenure as a manager at French Memories, where I engaged directly with customer concerns and oversaw daily operations. My meticulous attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness ensured that the establishment remained in excellent condition, even during peak hours. These skills transitioned to my serving role at Lucky Rooster Kitchen and Bar & Nectar, where I continued to enhance and demonstrate my exceptional Customer Service skills. My adaptability has enabled me to excel in various front-of-house roles, including Hosting, Bussing, Food-Running, Expiditing, Bartending, and primarily Serving. My strong memorization, presentation skills, and physical stamina contribute to my daily success in this dynamic environment.
Marketing/Social Media Management/ Content Creator
Engaging in various roles at French Memories Bakery, I also assumed the role of being their Social Media Coordinator. This experience taught me the art of building a social media presence, engaging followers, & converting them into loyal customers. One of these said followers recognized my talent & brought me on board to enhance the social media strategy for Abbey Road Hair Salon. My responsibilities included scheduling/crafting interactive content, running promotions, & collaborating with other local businesses. After my time with these small businesses came to an end due to a move, I transitioned to a Freelance Digital Marketing role for PC Survivors of Mass. Here, I shifted my focus to inbound email marketing & writing weekly articles for their blog and newsletter. Currently, I have taken on these roles as The Wedding Wingwoman, where I oversee Wedding Pros social media presence & develop content for their businesses. I focus on capturing joyful & touching moments, producing short videos and clips that narrate the wedding day experience, & share them on their platforms. My tasks also include blog writing, community/ publication outreach, calendar management, and more.
