Brightspace Student Orientation

Week 1

You are in the first group of students to take courses on our new LMS, Brightspace. You will be required to complete a Student Orientation, before you can see any of the course content. Look for an email from COLTT.Click on the button that follows for additional resources for Brightspace -->

1. Brightspace Student Orientation: Due Tuesday, January 21, 2025
2. Orientation for Success SoftChalk Activity: Due Wednesday, January 22, 2025
3. Adult Learning Characteristics and Motivation Activity: Due Thursday, January 23, 2025
4. Video Affirmations: Post by Friday, January 24, 2025; Replies on Saturday, January 25, 2025

Where to Start

1. Log in to myUTRGV.
2. Look for the Brightspace app on the Applications.
3. Click to enter Brightspace (D2L)
4. In the Spring 2025 tab, find EDCI 8321 and click to begin.
