Rules of the olympic games

1. 4-6 members on a team

2. Every team member must participate.

3. Each team will recieve 4 lifelines to use at the beginning of any event.

• Bible Card allows the team to use a Bible in the event.
• Help Card allows another team member to help.
• Pass Card allows a team member to pass on a event (note: the team meber that passes must play the next event)

4.Each events is rated by Level ovf Bible knowledge needed to complete the task. Level 1= minimal knowledge; Level 3= medium knowledge and Level 5= much knowledge

EVENT 1— Stack the Cups

There are 66 books in the Bible - 39 in the Old Testament, 27 in the New. Your task in this challenge is to sort these 66 cups into two stacks: 39 green in one stack, 27 blue in the other. Complete this challenge in 60 seconds or less, and you’ll win.

EVENT 2: UNSCRAMBLE THE BOOKS

Knowing the 39 books in the Old Testament includes being able to spell them. You will be shown the names of 20 scrambled Old Testament Books. Your challenge is to unscramble the most words in 60 seconds to win.

EVENT 3—Bible Scrabble

The bag contains a complete set of letters from a game of Scrabble. In this challenge, you must scoop letters from the bag and quickly assemble those letters into names of Bible books . You can spell any Books from the Bible you like, from Genesis to Malachi, but you must spell as many as you cann 60 seconds or less to win.

EVENT 4— 150 PENNIES

There are 150 chapters in the longest book in the Bible, the book of Psalms. In this challenge, you must move exactly 150 pennies into a separate pile, one for every Psalm. Finish this challenge in 60 seconds or less, and you win.

EVENT 5— The Minors

This challenge will test how well you know the Old Testament Prophets. There are twelve Minor Prophets in the Old Testament. Your task is to sort the Minor Prophets in order and stack them all into the egg crate. If you can get the twelve Minor Prophets into the crate together before time runs out, you win!

EVENT 6: Genesis to Malachi

Before you are Legos with the names of the 39 old testament books of the Bible. Your task, if you choose to accept it, is to arrange the legos in the order they appear in the Bible and stack them in their Bible sections. You only have 60 seconds to get them in the right order and win.

EVENT 7— BOOKS OF THE BIBLE KARAOKE

Knowing the Books of the Bible is useful when locating scriptures. In this challenge you will look up scriptures in the Bible and write down their page numbers on the white board. The team that correctly finds the most scriptures in 60 seconds wins.

EVENT 8— How fAR CAN YOU GO?

How well do you know your Bible, and how well do you know the 39 Old Testament books? In this challenge, you will recite as many books of the Bible as you can, in order, in one minute. The player who can go the furthest in the Bible without missing a book wins.(if you mess up, you have to start over).
