Rosa Parks exhibit

on December 1, 1955 Rosa Parks got on bus 2587 to go home. She was sitting infront of the bus and the bus started to fill there was a white man left standing while rosa was in the front of the bus. The bus driver asked her to move and she rufused to give up her seat to the white man. The driver called the police after telling her 2 more times and threatining.

They imprisoned her and she quoted " people always say that i didnt give up my seat because i was tired, but that isnt true. i was not tired physically, or no more tired than i usually was at the end of a working day... No the only tired i was, was tired of giving in."
