Credit Hours and Classes

Credit Hours or Credits are how much a class is worth. You need a spesfic number of credits in order to earn your degree (just like in high school!) Typical courses are between 2-4 credits. Credit Hours is a good indication how much work a class is going to be. A class with higher credit hours will have more work and meet more frequently than classes with less credit hours.

How to get into college?

What do I need, how does it work?

How to get into College

Colleges often have requirements for students in order to attend. One of those requirements is an APPLICATION, a process in which you offer your personal information, interested field of study (Major/Minor), SAT/ACT Scores, GPA and any sort of college credit courses you've taken into their system to be reviewed. Sometimes a fee is required. They may also require an essay of some kind describing a variety of topics. These essays are also important if you are looking at getting a scholarship.
