The job of a hero in stories is to overcome great challenges and to perform extraordinary deeds with others would not have been able to. A hero should have courage, strength, bravery, empathy, and selflessness. Some people in Indan mythology are Ram from Ramayana which is a great story, and Krishna from the Mahabarata.(Both are avatars of the great Lord Vishnu.)
