Through the development of the MESI for SEN distance education portal, the project provides academic knowledge, personal development opportunities, and professional competence enhancement. Our team consists of young Greeks that are working worldwide and have studied in Universities like Harvard ,Imperial College etc and want to make projects, together with you, that will impact the the lives of citizens,mostly the more vulnerable ones. On AFCS, we are trying to reach proffessionals, Public/Private Organizations and together create Projects that will receive external funding,since our personnel have along standing experience in funding search for their and partener's ideas.
The Team
George Charonidis holds a BSc in Food Science from the University of the Aegean, he combines his scientific knowledge with his legal expertise. Beyond his professional endeavors, George is renowned for his significant contributions to civil society building. His work in this area showcases his dedication to fostering community development and social advancement. As a pioneer in this field, he has played a pivotal role in various initiatives, embodying a blend of scientific acumen and legal insight to drive meaningful change in society.

The Team
Evangelos is a PhD Candidate in Quantitive Biology,Biochemistry, and Biotechnology in the University of Edinburg. Evangelos has obtained a BAinliberal Arts and Biology from Harvard University. He also has a Master of Research in Systems and Systemic Biology ,Biochemistry, and Biotechnology in the University of Edinburgh. He performed the Research Project: "Next-generation computational optimization of protein expressionsystems" in University of Edinburgh. He provided guidance for undergraduate students from the School of Informatics (datapreparation & dimensionality reduction, encoding methods, and visualisation) on projectsat the intersection of Machine Learning and Biology.-He assisted 1st year PhD students from the School of Biological Sciences on MachineLearning pipelines for image analysis and classification of neural stem cells. He Directed and organised educational trips to European Molecular Biology Laboratories(EMBL) and German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), in Heidelberg, Germany, to exposestudents to different laboratory environments.-Organised four fundraising events for the class trip to Germany. The amount raised(€6000) was split among twenty-two students with financial difficulties.

Marios Nomikos, MsC in Public Sector Management, University of Birmingham. Since 2020, he has managed the implementation of 39 EU projects. He also has experience managing consortia as the manager of the applicant organisation. He possesses excellent management and communication skills. He has participated in numerous of conferences, events and workshops organized by the European Parliament, Ministries, Universities and other bodies.

He earned his MSc in Environmental Studies & Sustainability and a bachelor's degree in International Relations, both from Panteion University. With three years of experience in project management, Vassilis has successfully overseen the implementation of more than 20 projects. His expertise shines in the coordination of various initiatives, including Erasmus+, EEA Grants and other significant projects. His combined knowledge of environmental sustainability and international relations, coupled with his proven project management skills, make Vassilis a versatile and effective leader in managing complex and impactful projects.

Charalampos is a dynamic project manager with a robust background in electrical engineering. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of West Attica, providing him with a solid technical foundation. With two years of experience in project management, Charalampos has effectively implemented several projects, demonstrating his capability to lead and manage complex tasks successfully. The Team
Konstaninos is a PhD candidate in remote Sensing & land cover classification based on Coherent Radiation on PolSAR with promissing skills in several software, like: MATLAB,LabVIEW and Quartus and an excessive experience in use of Programming,like: Python,C/C++,Fortran,VHDL. Konstantinos graduated from University of Patras –Department of Physics in June 2018 and received his master’s degree in Electronics and Information Processing in February 2020. His main research interests are machine learning and optimization methods, and the way they are applied in plenty of scientific topics. His experience on Physics and Programming Laboratory begun since 2019. He has experience as Assistant to Physics Laboratory, during winter semesters (October 2020-January 2021 &October 2021-January 2022)•Assistant to Computer Programming Laboratory I, during winter semester (October 2019 –January 2020).•Food and Beverage services (from 2013). He holds a Postgraduate Degree in "International Law and Diploma Studies" , Department of International Studies, Law & International Relations from Department of International, European and Regional Studies from Panteion University. He has a wide experience in Public International Law (International Justice, International Justice, Sea Law, Airspace Law and Space, International Environmental Law) - European Union (Generalities, EU Institutions and Policies, External Relations of the Union, European Integration). He has working experience as: Secretary at Polling Stations in National, Regional and European Elections. Internship in the Directorate of International Affairs of the Greek Parliament. Scientific staff in the Interparliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy. Project officer of the Liaison Office of D.S.O. with the Pan-African Parliament, in Lusaka (Zambia) Administrative Staff and Humanitarian Aid Coordinator of the Consulate General of Greece in Lusaka.
