What even is a mid-budget movie?

A mid-budget movie has a budget between 10-99 million dollars.

So we love mid-budget movies... so where have they gone?

Turns out it is us! All top 10 of the highest-grossing movies are not mid-budget. So, we're the ones not supporting mid-budget movies!

Mid-budget movies once ruled.

Why? Because of us!

It's actually more like... who's taking their place? In the above graph, we see movies over the mid-budget mark rising in popularity.
