COURSE OBJECTIVE:
This course is designed for adult learners aged 20-55. It aims to introduce and develop their English language skills in a fun and interactive way. The course will cover the basics of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

ON THE MEND: Recovering after an illness or injury. E.G. He suffered a heart attack last week, but thankfully he is on the mend. THE WORSE FOR WEAR: Someone is very tired, ill, or injured or something is in bad condition. E.G. Not having slept, he looked the worse for wear.

FEELING OFF-COLOUR: You don't feel yourself but you're not quite sure what you have. E.G. Adam is feeling a bit off-color today. I think he should go to the doctor. OUT OF SORTS: A little unwell. E.G. Sarah unfortunately, won't be joining us tonight, she is feeling a little out of sorts.

MUSEUM PIECE: Something very old-fashioned. It is the kind of stuff that should no longer be used. E.G That book was a museum piece in the 80's now is broken. THE SHOW MUST GO ON: An event or activity must continue even if there are problems or difficulties. E.G. The show must go on even if Andrea doesn't arrive.
ENTERTAINMENT..
TO RUN THE SHOW: To be in charge of an organization or activity. E.G. I need to run the show for the next project. TO BE STAR-STUDDED: An event that is attended by lots of famous people. E.G. The OSCARS is a star-studded.
