Project objectives

This project aims to make students aware of the importance of water in our lives, the scarcity of this resource and microplastic pollution.

A little summary...

In this project, students will develop different activities about water and its importance in our lives, namely: exhibitions with photographic montages and multimedia of the biodiversity of the place where the schools of each country are located; exhibition of short films awarded in the WeArtWaterFilmFestival contest, which raise awareness of the problem of water scarcity in the most varied contexts due to climate change; Water Experiences demonstration sessions; artistic installation consisting of a mural with a giant fish (for example) made of materials of plastic origin and creation of a virtual gallery with the murals built in each country; organization of meetings with specialist researchers in this area; development of a website and e-books with the work carried out by students from different countries.

Project planning

All partners in this project are colleagues from Turkey, so this planning has changed, due to the earthquake that occurred in February in that country. Some schools in Turkey only open at the end of March. Despite this, we have continued the project, within what is possible.
