Estepona is a Spanish municipality and town in the province of Malaga, Andalusia. It is located in the south-western part of the province and is part of the Costa del Sol Occidental region.The municipality covers an area of 137.5 km², stretching along 23 km of coastline and inland to a fertile valley criss-crossed by streams and a mountainous area. The city has approximately 82,000 inhabitants.

The name Estepona comes from the Arabic Estebbuna. The History of Estepona is the History of the Costa del Sol. Prehistory, Phoenicians, Romans and Arabs left their legacy in these lands. The ethnonym is esteponero-a and comes from the Castilian name, Estepona. As in other towns in the area, its citizens are known by a popular name. The Esteponeros are called culitos mojaos (wet butts).

With almost 50 years of history, our school has a very important role in the city of Estepona. The school has 6 buildings which house almost 1500 students and 120 teachers.
