Hello. I'm afraid we've not met before. My name is Ismara and I am a writer and storyteller. I traveled here a few years ago all the way from Lunareth in the Western Reaches seeking new stories to tell.I've been coming to these old gardens each day imagining them at their height, with people like me bustling around, studying, writing, reading... While there aren't many people here, there are many books. RB-87 and I have been reading some of the new books teleported here from the place you call "Earth." We'd pay you to give us some of your own ideas for conflicts in stories. I think I could use the inspiration for stories of my own.

- To invest, give an Academy coin to a teacher with a note stating that you "want to invest in the Academy News Agency."
- Lira believes (8) coins would be sufficient to build the agency, but more would help the quality.
- You may or may not be directly rewarded, but your help will be noticed.

I'm Brunch. You might know my elder brother Crunch. He's off on business this week. Academy staff like to get him involved when they need a brick wall to block things off for awhile. He's the quiet type but don't let if fool you, he's VERY sensitive. Might be the best poetry writer on the continent, but I don't think he shares his work with anyone. If you have any questions about Quests this week just let me know, I fill in and help around The Academy when I'm needed.

Welcome to the new building for The Academy Herald, the first official newspaper for Academy City and Market Town. Thanks to a VERY generious group of investors, we were able to build a much better building than originally planned, and I'm currently hiring more staff, I might even have some jobs opening up later for Academy students interested in writing for the Herald. Please check out our inaugural issue when you get the chance! The news building is still being sorted out but will be open to visitors soon as well.

Academy City, Market Town, and Fort Starsky initially developed in this area due to easy access to water and river shipping routes and abundant natural resources. Add at least (4) geographic features to your map, (you can use those we studied, or others.) 1.) Choose how you will create your map. You can do so physically or digitally. Is your map North, South, East, or West of what we can see on the Academy map?3.) Add at least (4) geographic features. Use our training session video and online research to help. They aren't defending it, the fools! There's a fortune there. We take the books, destroy what's left, including the old man! Once they're loaded on the ship we can have the books in Perell or Havistad by Spring. To think, a bunch of paper and words will be what brings us wealth beyond measure. I've contacted J.B and C.L for back-up just in case. J.O. will be our contact point. We'll all be ready by the time the chill sets in. This is payback. They'll never forget my name. You're going to create a piece of art inspired by their work and style.1.) Choose one of these artists to investigate. Do research, what movement or style are they known for? On the back of your artwork or on the back of the guidebook page, discuss the artist you choose, and how your work relates to theirs. Did you use similar subjects/styles/etc.? I can see many other things. I am not your friend, or your foe. For generations students and citizens come to me at this time of year. I have seen through the leaves, and left pieces of a message for you and your peers scattered across the land. Tell me what you've learned, the first few that do will receive a boon from the forest for the season ahead.

Hello Academy Student! We've cleaned up a bit. Thanks to you students and other volunteers we have part of this ancient structure habitable again, though a lot of this building remains inaccessable due to rubble from centuries of earthquakes. We've also found doors mysteriously unable to be opened, and strange symbols in places. I truly feel like it will take a monumental effort to restore this place completely. Please see the floor plan Barrick is putting together and feel free to travel to any of the accessible destinations.
