The student is capable of crafting a pinch pot following a demonstration provided by the instructor. The student has acquired techniques for effectively working with clay. The student has gained knowledge of the various stages of clay, demonstrating the ability to identify the benefits associated with each stage.

Question: What do you know about clay? Answer: Clay comes from the ground, mostly from the sides of a riverbed. Clay can also be found inside of a mountain where it is moist Fact: Clay loves water

Question: How did our ancestors discover clay? Answer: It was likely through a combination of coincidence and experimentation. The discovery was probably a result of both coincidence and systematic experimentation. Question: How did they find out that clay can harden? Answer:It is believed that this was discovered by chance, possibly when clay inadvertently came into contact with fire.
