Rosa Parks
Rosa Parks was a black woman that sat in the white-only section of a bus one day, and she was arrested for it. this situation inspired people to fight for desegregation in buses and started the Montgomery bus boycott, which eventually led to desgregation in buses just like the people wanted.

Greensboro Sit-Ins
The Greensboro sit-ins were when African Americans would sit at cafe bar and wait to be served even if they were refused. This was very important because as time went on more and more people across the country decided to sit until they were served.

Birmingham
At the march in Birmingham, they had recruited mostly kids but when it started, there were lots of cops and firemen around, and they started setting attack dogs on the kids, spraying them with firehoses, and the police officers were even hitting them with their bats. All of it ended up being on live television and everybody that was watching stared in horror at their tv as they watched what was happening.
