MLKJ died on April 4, 1968. MLKJ died in the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee. Where MLKJ whas assassinated is now the Civil rights Museum. When MLKJ got shot everybody pointed to where they heard the gunshot.

The bus boycott lasted a little over a year and was successful. It goes back to December 1, 1955, when Rosa Parks was arrested for sitting in the wrong part of the bus. Then the NAACP started a boycott to stay off the buses. almost 99% of African Americans stayed off the buses.

In Martin Luther King Jr spach he Stated that even after 100 yers People are still segrigated, "the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation". even when slavery was abolished the anfickn amaricans live in poverty. "the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty".The afrikn amaricans are being egsield in their own land.
