Have learners place a stamp on your shared screen.

Tips

  • Press Enable Annotation right when you begin this strategy. Press Disable Annotation as soon as you are finished.
  • Clear all annotations between stamp prompts.
  • Model, practice and correct until learners have the routine down.

Simple Multi-Modal Responses

Have students respond using a collaborative digital response tool like Padlet:
  • 3-2-1
  • Make a "tweet" about it
  • sketch it out
  • Brain dump
  • Video
  • Drawings
  • GIF

Nonverbal Signal

Have students respond directly into the camera:
  • thumbs up/thumbs down
  • facial expression
  • score of 1-5 with fingers
  • strike a pose or make a movement that reflects a vocabulary word meaning
  • make a gesture to agree/disagree/add on
