Little Rock 9 Room
In order to get progress on intagrating schools their were nine students chosen called the little rock nine to attend school in central high a white school. Their were soliders gaurding the school to show everybody protesting they were not going to take anything. It ended up successful untill the next year the govener used a last resort and close the school for a year.
In this image the soldiers are leading and making sure nothing happens to these 9 chosen students.

In Washington D.C Martin Luther King Jr gave a speech that is one of the most iconic speeches of all time. It was a big part on how segragation stopped.

MLK got shot on april 4th 1968 at the Lorraine motel. As he was leaving the motel to go to memphis for his black community historical importnace. In the photo to the side it shows mrtins guards pointing to where they heard the gunshot that hit martin luther king jr.
In this image martin luther kig has been shot and his body guards are pointing at where the gunshots were heard.

Central high is the high school that the 9 students went to. It was the first school that black students went to but wasn't integrated for a while.
