March and I have a dream Speech by MLK

So many joined MLK in the March. Do you know how many people attended? About 250,000 people. 😯 Then one of the greatest speeches of all time was delivered on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. He had so many many people supporting him as he talked about this big idea he had. The idea was about everyone having equal rights and how it could change the world.

Rosa Parks

Rosa parks made history by deciding one day she wanted rights. At the time the law was if a white peroson came on a bus and an Aftrican American was sitting they would have to get up and give their seet to the white person. This law was unfair and then one day Rosa Parks decided she wasn't going to take it anymore. 😔 She didnt get up and ended up getting arrested for disobeying the law. 😄 FYI Many people said she didn't get up because she was tired, which was true but she wasn't more tired then she usually was at the end of the working day, she states that she was "tired of giving in." Tired of giving into the law and not getting rights.

When she got arrested she was getting mad at the accusations of people saying she was beung lazy. She said that she wasn't tired like at the end of a work day but tired of giving in.
