Planning the project - September
- We met the Erasmus commission of Jorge Juan school in Monforte del Cid (Spain) to discuss the 2024-25 project focused on cultural respect and teacher methodology exchange.
- We asked students about their interests in learning about other countries before creating the project.
- After analyzing student interests, we began designing monthly activities for the project.
Brainstorm
Planning the project - September
- We planned a year-long project with monthly activities for each country.
- We shared our project idea on eTwinning to find partners, and received immediate interest from many schools. We chose partners based on school characteristics, student age, and methodologies.
- After selecting 10 countries, we communicated via email in English until the project was approved, finalizing the timetable with input from my colleagues.
- We provided a document for families to sign about image rights before starting the project.
Planning the project - September
- After inauguration, we presented our work on the platform for other schools. Other countries will also upload their presentations.
- This month, we created a map of Europe with colored participating countries and prepared interactive games for learning about the map and flags.
- How have we organized to use the eTwinning platform?
- The ‘Forum’ will solve doubts, share ideas, and communicate among participants.
- The ‘Materials’ section uploads activity materials. Main folders indicate task numbers and months, with sub-folders for instructions and templates. Each country has a sub-folder for their task materials.
- In the ‘Pages’ section, we organize project information visually for easy reading, using ICT tools like Padlet, Genially, Canva, and Powtoon.
