Customer engagement
for retail marketing
The 2025 guide to CPaaS
Solution Our agile development process allowed us to stay flexible and create a solution that was fully customized to our customer's needs, including: Traffic and financial reporting, in one place: Through a customized solution they gained visibility of their international traffic and financial reporting across all sub and master accounts, in one place. Established Sender IDs: Using local routes is challenging for Sender IDs in terms of registration for each route. BICS simplified the process without requiring them to sign agreements with each operator. Compliance, security, and QoS: BICS enabled regulation compliance through automated SMS opt-out with URL inclusion in the message. They can now offer consistently great QoS thanks to the highest delivery rates and lowest latency of BICS’ routes.

Context The client is an international marketplace with branches and delivery
systems in over 10 countries in Africa and the Middle East.
With competition in the industry increasing, they needed a solution to
grow and scale. In particular, they required a solution to remain locally
competitive on pricing for their A2P messaging across all branches - for
both their marketing SMS, and transactional SMS (which required higher
quality routes, for real-time updates). Needs More flexibility to remain locally competitive on pricing across the
countries they operate in
Optimized traffic and financial reporting, which was originally split
per branch, country, and type of traffic
A straightforward communications solution - fully compliant with
local regulations, highly secure, and with minimal DevOps contribution
