Description
They will work in groups to research each branch using Genially and collaborate to create a digital presentation that showcases their understanding. The lesson integrates multimedia learning tools and allows students to express their knowledge through various modes of communication.
Direct Instruction: Explain the basic structure and function of the three branches of government using an interactive whiteboard presentation exam.
Guided Research: Students will use Genially to collaboratively gather information on one of the branches of government.
Group Work: Students will work in small groups to create a digital presentation/exam. With interactive questions.
Presentation and Peer Review: Each group will present their digital work to the class, followed by a peer-review session based on a rubric.

- Basic understanding of the concept of government (previous lessons on local and state government)
