Hieroglyphics
The system of writing used in Ancient Egypt using pictographs is called hieroglyphics. The writing on these artifacts could be used to show what they are, or who they were for.
Organs are preserved in canopic jars. Each jar is made of clay and topped with the head of a different god. These jars are placed in a canopic chest and positioned near the mummy in the tomb, ensuring the organs are available for use in the afterlife.
