Different types of roots
Other vegetables like onions, have hairy roots that go below the ground.
Some plants such as carrots, have big thick roots that are grown above the ground.
The final stage
All plants grow to be beautiful. They vary in size, colour, shape and texture. All plants need air, water, minerals and sunlight. It is our responsibility to look after plants and give them everything they need to grow and flourish.
