x - ray waves
7. Animation of x-ray waves (the one after the red wave)
1. Wavelenght and Frequency - The wave has a short wavelength and has a higher frequency. 2. Size of the wave - An x-ray wave is about the size of atoms 3. Medium it travels through - An x-ray wave goes through the soft parts of the human body and gets blocked by the hard parts 4 & 5. This wave is dangourous if not used properly, this is why it's used in controlled environments. 6. This wave is used in hospitals for bone scans or mouth x-rays.
8. Explain how this wave is detected.- This is wave is not detectable by eye but it detectable on X-ray machines. 9. Describe how we use the energy from this wave - The energy of this wave is used to scan through the human bodies, and search for skeletal injuries.
