My birth

My hometown

In 2011, we moved with my family from Auxerre to Auray. It's a pretty city of 15 000 inhabitants located in the Morbihan (56).

I was born on September 3rd, 2005 in Auxerre. Consequently, I'm now 19 years old !

How to describe me ?

I'm an introvert who likes calm and stable environments. I consider myself as an observant person, as I like to stand back during discussions in order to concentrate on people, their way of being and acting. It allows me to get a first impression of people I might be talking to and also to know how to deal with them.

My name is Antonin Guillotot-Lechien and that's me !

Their are very important for me, I love spend much time with them. Especially my grandparents because since 5 or 6 years the spend half of the year in Morocco to enjoy sun and friends.

SPORT

It's one of the main things that gives rhythm to my life. I love sport in general, as soon as I get the chance to do it I take it. I mainly play football, tennis and mountain biking.

My favourite sport is by far football. I've played for almost 10 years at Auray FC which is my hometown's football club. Football allows me to get confidence and to forget everything that's going on around me. When I play, I just enjoy the moment with my friends and it's really pleasant.

MUSIC

I absolutely love listening to music, I listen to it every day. I mainly listen to Rock, Jazz, Soul and Rap. My love for music is something that I share with my dad. Besides, he plays piano and guitar. I'd love to be able to play the drums and electric guitar. I will for sure try it in the future.

Trips with school

Trips with my parents

Trips with my grandparents

During my years of primary school we used to move to different places in Britanny. For example, we went to Saint-Malo, Locmariaquer and Pleumeur-Bodou. Also, we went to Jersey for an English stage. Then, in middle school we went to the Pays de la Loire to visit the Chateaux de la Loire. It was very interesting, but finally we complained because we had to give back a notebook at the end of the trip. During middle school, I also went to Spain. More precisely in Salamanca. With two friends, we were hosted by an old lady. She was a bit weird, she fed us with expired food. At the time it wasn't funny, but my friends and I kept good memories of this journey because we did so much great stuff there. Finally, my best and favourite school's trip was in Highschool. We went to Italy, took the plane in Nantes to land in Venecia. It was the first time in a plane for some of us so it was funny to see their reactions. What I shouldn't say is that I'm myself not very comfortable in planes. To get more informations about my Italy's trip click on the button bellow.

Since I'm 5 years old, during summer, we used to move two weeks in campsites with my grandparents. I loved these moments, it allowed me to spend time with them. We did a lot of biking with my grandfather, we also played a lot of card games with my sister and the two of them.

We went twice to London because my dad loves London and England overall. I really enjoyed both of these trips despite I didn't keep many memories of them. Luckily, my parents took a lots of photos. We also went to Marocco, we joined my grandparents there because as I said before they spend half of the year enjoying the Moroccan sun. I loved it, I think it's because of the huge differences there are between Morocco and France. The landscapes, the way of life and the people change completely and I enjoyed it ! Finally, we went to Majorca few years ago. That one is a bit special for me. I have the feeling that I didn't fully live it because sometimes I didn't want to take part in activities with my family. However, I really like what we did there, but it's clearly not my favourite trip.

PAST EXPERIENCES // WORK

WORK

I've only worked once in a professional environment, it was during last summer. I was in a drink distribution company as a driver's assistant. My work was divided into two parts. In the mornings, I was with the driver who drove us to different customers (bars, restaurants, bakeries, private parties) and I helped him to unload everything and collect all the empty barrels and bottles. Then in the afternoon, I was at the depot to prepare the pallets for the next day's deliveries. Once I finished that, I went to help my driver to load the truck in order to be ready next morning.

// EXPECTATIONS FOR THE BUT //

MY EXPECTATIONS

First, I chose the BUT MMI to get more practical work because, as I said before I mostly had theory classes in University. I think it's quite important to be able to put in practice what we learn in theory class, it helps to understand better and reproduce what we saw. Another point I expect from the BUT is the creative and artistic side. I'm for now not really artistic, but I have an interest in it. I hope I'll be able to develop my skills in this domain. At this time, I'm more comfortable with web development as it's the subject in which I have the most experience. But i'm very excited about the idea of discover new things, especially photography and graphic design. I came in Lannion with the idea of choosing the "Web development and Interactive devices" speciality. A few weeks ago, I heard that if there are enough people interested, a third speciality will be able to be created. Maybe I'll finally choose this one.

FUTURE

I'd like to do an apprenticeship from the second year of the BUT, it's still unclear at the moment but I think it can be interesting for me. This will enable me to gain experience, learn new things and expand my contact network. Multimedia and audiovisual both have an important point for me. Which is the possibility of working where you want and anywhere across the world.I'd love to have a job that allows me to work abroad or at least in which I'm able to travel.

It's a french municipality located in the Morbihan department in Britanny. Morbihan's department number is 56. In 2021, 14 222 inhabitants were registred.

Their names are Philippe and Catherine. They're both 70 years old and are my mother's parents.

My grandparents

My dad's name is Christophe, he's a pastry chef. My mom is named Caroline, she works as an early childhood educator.

My parents

Her name is Léa, she's 16 years old. She's currently in her second year of learning to become a hairdresser.

Ecole Savorgnan de Brazza

This was my first school ever, I stayed 3 years at Braza. This school is located at Auxerre, my birthplace. I don't really have any memories about this school because it was a long time ago. I've even forgotten the school's name.

Primary school

As you're now able to see, I didn't do my primary school at Braza. In fact it's because we moved to Auray in 2011, so I changed schools and came to Ecole du Loch located in Auray.

Middle school

Collège Le Verger

After my primary school I've moved to Le Verger, still in Auray. Something special about the year I got my Brevet is that it was in 2020, while the COVID-19 was a real issue. Consequently, some of the usual tests didn't take place. Also, for a long part of the year I was in distant classes because we were all on lockdown.

Highschool

Lycée Benjamin Franklin

Once again my school was in Auray. When I was in my first year of highschool, COVID-19 was still present therefore I was also for a part of the year in distant class. Finally, I got a general Baccalaureate with NSI (Digital and computer sciences) and LLCER Anglais (English literature) specialities.

There is a funny story behind the origine of the school's name. in 1776, Benjamin Franklin came in France to get Louis XVI's support for the Declaration of Independance of thirteen American colonies. He was supposed to arrive in Nantes, but headwinds lead him to Auray.

Last year I was in computer science. Unfortunately, I really didn't like it, most of the subjects weren't interesting to me. Moreover, in university there are almost exclusively theory classes, which I think is unfortunate. However, I don't regret having finished the year because I'm sure that I learnt some interesting things that could be useful to me in the future, particularly in development.
