The aim of these activities is for students to expand their knowledge of basic passive voice structure. The activities are designed to illustrate more complex transformations in passive as well as extensively practise its formation.
* Let's try to understand it
Page 3 includes the explanation of passive with some reporting verbs. * Start by clicking A and eliciting the answer to the question. By clicking the words in a sentence you get the correct choice. Repeat the same with B and C. The remaining part of the sentence appears when you click the verb. * Click 2 and illustrate the same transition with the other grammar. * Emphasize the use of infinitive and perfect infinitive in the sentences.
* Practice
Ask ss to transform all the examples according to the rules they have just learnt. This can be done as an individual activity or whole class practice when ss solve the examples in groups or one by one.
