Regiment abilities and enhancements are abilities or buffs that alter the way you play your army. You get to pick one of each when setting up.
Regiment Abilties effect your entire army.
Enhancements only effect your general.

What is Spearhead?
Uhhhhhhhhh...
Spearhead is a smaller version of the main Warhammer: Age of Sigmar gamemode that comes with a smaller map , simplified rules, and premade armies.
Armies have their rules altered and simplified to be more effective on the smaller board. Units are assigned and equipped in a way that cannot be altered. What CAN be altered are certain abilities your army posesses.
The game is split into Attacker and Defender, roles which solely effect how the game is set up. Players score points over four rounds of alternating player turns. Victory is won through scoring the most points, not killing your opponent.
Spearhead Map
The Spearhead board is made up of two sides: Ghyran
and Aqshy.
There are also two ways to deploy on the board:
Horizontal
and diagonal.
Unlike other modes of warhammer, Spearhead's objectives are named and don't move from game to game.
Ghyran
Aqshy
The objectives are as follows:
Ignax
Nagendra
Dracothian
Vulcatrix
Behemat
Setting up Spearhead
To set up a game of Spearhead you will pick an army and then:
- Roll off. Winner chooses who is attacker and who is defender.
- Attacker picks regiment ability and enhancement, then defender does so.
- Defender chooses Aqshy or Ghyran side of realm battlefield.
- Defender picks deployment map (horizontal or diagonal) and chooses which territory is theirs.
- Defender sets up 1 large and 1 small terrain feature. Then attacker does the same. Each terrain feature must be set up wholly within friendly territory, more than 6" from all other terrain features and more than 3" from both long battlefield edges and enemy territory. Terrain features cannot be set up on objectives.
- Attacker sets up their army first, followed by the defender. Each unit must be set up wholly within friendly territory and more than 6" from enemy territory.
Taking turns
The first turn:
- The attacker chooses who takes the first turn.
- Players both draw battle tactic cards until they have 3 in their hand.
Any turn after the first:
- Roll for initiative.
- Discard and draw battle tactic cards until you have 3 in your hand.
WIN...
Battle Tactics
Battle tactic cards are comprised of 2 parts: - a mission which can be used to score points - a command that can be used when stated to do something you otherwise wouldn't be able to do.
You can either score the battle tactic at the end of your turn or use the command ability, not both. Once the card has been used, it gets discarded.
It is best practice to keep these card concealed from your opponent, only revealing them whenever scoring or using an ability.
Weapon Profiles
These profiles describe what weapons your models are equipped with as well as their statlines. There are two types of profiles, ranged and melee, with the only difference between the two being that ranged profiles have a range on them.
