  • Over the course of this year, you should have worked with five selections from this choice board.
  • Now it's time to demonstrate what you gained from that work. You will do that through the Unproject.
  • Regardless of the form your work takes, it should meet the expectations set forth in the RUBRIC linked below.
  • While your Unproject can take many forms, below are a few ideas to get you started.

Motivational Speech by Denzel Washington

INSTRUCTIONS
  • If this selection is your choice for today, take a snip of this window to put in your Edio lesson.
  • Watch the video clip to the right.
  • You will be asked to provide evidence in the Edio lesson for today. For your evidence, summarize Denzel Washington's message. Be sure to write five to seven sentences.
  • In the next independent learning lesson, you will be instructed to submit ONE of the following assignments. You can begin working on it now if you'd like.
ASSIGNMENT OPTIONS (for Day 2)
  • Choose one of the people Washington metnioned in his speech. Research who they are and trheir accomplishemnts. Write a 3 paragraph biography about that person. Be sure it's in MLA format and that you cite your sources.
  • Think about a time in your life that required you to be resilient. Write a journal response in consideration of that time and this video. It should be 10-15 lines long and in MLA format.
  • Create a PowerPoint of 5-7 slides abouta person of your choosing who demonstrated resilency. Be sure to cite your sources.
