You will organise a welcome cocktail at the university with a special theme: the francophonie. This project invites you to discover different cultures of French-speaking countries while planning and organising a party. You will have to describe the preparations, buy items for the party, invite your friends.

With the help of the poster on the previous page, write a text (120 - 150 words) to organize the details of the welcome cocktail. You must mention: - The date, which you will find on the poster - The location of the party. - The guest list. - What you would like to buy. The theme "francophonie": each guest must bring a typical dish or an object from a French-speaking country (for example: couscous from Morocco, poutine from Canada, chocolate from Belgium, etc.). The items to buy (decorations on the theme of the francophonie: country flags, cultural objects, French-speaking music).

Role playIn pair, imagine you are at a store that sells drinks and decorations for a French-speaking themed party. The customer wants to buy products from different French-speaking countries.Decide before the interaction who will be the customer who is looking to buy products and who will be the seller who provides information and sells the products.You (the costumer) must ask about :- The price and availability of typical products from French-speaking countries.- Buy flags, cultural objects, or French-speaking music.- Ask for at least two different types of products (e.g., a drink and a decoration).- Ask for details about the origin of the products (e.g., “Is this drink from Belgium?”).Be sure to ask about prices and decide what to buy.For the seller :- Provide information about at least two products. - Mention prices and availability clearly.Don't forget to include greetings at the beginning and end of the conversation.The role play should last no longer than 2-3 minutes.
