Be in contact with parents

Set clear expectations for the children

REWARDING

In the interview, Emmalie states that the best thing about her job is watching the children grow and learn in such a short time.

Benefical Aspects

Emmalie says, it depends what the situation is specifically. But for an example, if a child hurts or hits another child, they would take a break from that activity and find something else to do until they calm down. Once calmed, will discuss the issue and a punishment if necessary.

Disciplinary Actions

Emmalie feels as dealing with parents is the hardest part of childcare. She also says that the seperation of her and the child after helping them grow, is also very hard for her.
