What is Global warming ?

Global warming is the progressive increase in the Earth´s average temperature, caused mainly by the emission of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane. These gases trap heat in the atmosphere, intensifying the natural greenhouse effect.

Consequences :

Causes :

Global warming is mainly caused by human actions taht increase the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. The burning of fossil fuels such as oil, coal and natural gas releases large quantitites of carbon dioxide.

Global warming has serious consequeces for the climate and ecosystems. Extreme weather events such as droughts and storms are becoming mor frequent, and the melting of the polar ice caps is causing sea levels to rise, threatening coastal areas.

Social and economic impacts

Global warming has significant social and economic impacts. the poorest regions are most affected, exacerbating social inequalitites. Rising sea levels and natural disasters force the displacement of populations, creating climate refugees.

Conclusions

Global warming is one of the biggest challenges facing the industry, with profound environmental, social and economic consequences. Climate changes directly affects life on the planet, from the loss of biodiversity to the displacement of population and the intensification of social inequalities.

Urgent action to reduce greenhouse effect emissions and promote adaptation to these changes is essencial to guarantee a sustainable future and minimise he negative impacts fot future generations.
