O uso das tecnologias de informação mudou profundamente a maneira como vivemos, com benefícios claros, mas também com ameaças, como o cyberbullying. Para combater esses riscos, o Centro Internet Segura, em Portugal, trabalha em conjunto com várias entidades para promover o uso responsável da internet, principalmente entre estudantes. Iremos dar dicas de segurança online, como não compartilhar dados pessoais, proteger-se de vírus e evitar encontros arriscados, alertar sobre os perigos do uso excessivo da tecnologia, que pode impactar negativamente a saúde física, emocional e social.

Cyberbullying é o bullying que acontece online, através de redes sociais, mensagens e jogos. Ele pode envolver ofensas, mentiras, vazamento de fotos ou criação de perfis falsos para humilhar alguém. Esse tipo de agressão é perigoso porque acompanha a vítima em todos os lugares, aumentando o impacto emocional e psicológico. Quem passa por isso pode sofrer de ansiedade, depressão e até ter pensamentos suicidas. Para combater o cyberbullying, é importante que as pessoas denunciem, bloqueiem agressores e conversem com alguém de confiança para buscar apoio.
